Distance 03:45
Distance has taught me how to read what’s right How to keep from loving the wrong man twice How to keep from making the same mistake again Oh that’s the lesson I’ve learned from my sin Heartache has taught me how to stand my ground How to keep from letting them pull me down How to keep from falling down again Oh that’s the lesson I’ve learned from my sin I’ve met my conquerer and faced my fears I haven’t felt that good in years Don’t ever want to feel that way again Oh that’s the lesson I’ve learned from my sin Distance has taught me how to read what’s right How to keep from loving the wrong man twice How to keep from making the same mistake again Oh that’s the lesson I’ve learned from my sin I’ve learned a lesson I feel the blessing Oh ho, that’s the lesson I’ve learned from my sin Oh that’s the lesson I’ve learned from my sin

Take Me to Bluegrass I’m a sister, a mother, a friend and a wife I love what is simple, what makes me feel right I am strong-willed and grounded, my heart knows no boundaries I feel closer, to memory, with each passing day So take me Bluegrass, where I should lay There near my mother, to spend all my days Take to bluegrass, where I found my life A mother, a sister, a friend, and a wife In my dreams I see myself there, sweet magnolia all in the air The song from a church choir is echoing near Cumberland calling me back through the years I’ve given my children, all that I own My heart and my faith, they should pass to their own It came through my mother, and her mother before The love that I give, will always endure So take me Bluegrass, where I should lay There near my mother, to spend all my days Take to bluegrass, where I found my life A mother, a sister, a friend, and a wife In my dreams I see myself there, sweet magnolia all in the air The song from a church choir is echoing near Cumberland calling me back through the years I’m a sister, a mother, a friend and a wife I love what is simple, what makes me feel right So take me Bluegrass, where I found my life A mother, a sister, a friend, and a wife

Emma Louise 02:43
Emma Louise Daylight she walks the street No one calls her name But it doesn’t matter to her cause, she knows they are afraid But at night she cries to sleep, she pretends it’s a dream She can hear them calling for her, Emma Louise She’s tough as nail, or so it seems They stand in line to love her boy, her love ain’t free And at night she cries to sleep Come and save me please She can hear them calling for her Emma Louise She remembers you How it was so sweet She’s not sure how it happened but She lost everything And at night she cries to sleep Come and save me please She can hear them calling her home Emma Louise Oh Emma Louise

If She Only Knew Me If She Only Knew Me, she’d turn and walk away She’d think twice about it, and steal your love away If she only knew me, if she was my friend She would give it up to please you, and I’d be free again Well if she really wanted to wreck my world She would totally destroy you and never be your girl But I got this feeling that she won’t let me down It won’t be too long until you are gone, gone, gone, And I’ll be hitting town If She only knew me, she’d take you away She’d tell you that you please her, in each and every way If she only knew me, she would not hesitate To make you her lover, until her dying day Well if she really wanted to wreck my world She would totally destroy you and never be your girl But I got this feeling that she won’t let me down It won’t be too long until you are gone, gone, gone, And I’ll be hitting town (harp solo over verse) Well if she really wanted to wreck my world She would totally destroy you and never be your girl But I got this feeling that she won’t let me down It won’t be too long until you are gone, gone, gone, And I’ll be hitting town
